We used to eat at their fab restaurant Mosaic in Swansea so we expected it to be nice. It was actually incredible! It’s so much more than a b&b. More like a 5 star hotel! Absolutely everything you could possibly want from Nespresso coffee machine to robes & slippers. The view from our room across the mountains was awesome! Super comfy bed, great bathroom, amazing 4 course breakfast and lush roof terrace with sofas overlooking the mountains. Brennan and Andrew have got it spot on! They’ll even cook you a fantastic evening meal based on local produce with every dietary requirement catered for. Absolutely fab!

 

STYLISH OASIS

Situated in the old part of town in ‘Fiesta Street’ this beautiful white town house with its wrought iron balconies has been renovated to the highest standards. Andrew and Brennan are delightful hosts who have created a stylish oasis with astonishing attention to detail. Our first floor suite boasted it own sitting room as well as dressing room, bedroom and en suite shower room. Carefully selected pieces of furniture, a mix of contemporary and antique, ambient lighting and interesting art and books together with high count cotton bed linen, towels, slippers and bathrobes it was an unexpected level of luxury and a wonderful January treat. There is a flower filled courtyard and a roof terrace with comfortable sofas and stunning views of the mountains. But the food..! Warm croissants and pastries, wide selection of fresh exotic fruits, yoghurts, cereals and grains, cold meats, cheeses, tomato salsa and the most delicious freshly prepared wild mushroom frittata.

Absolutely first class. Hosts Brennan and Andrew couldn’t do enough for us. Their breakfasts were quite possibly the best we’ve ever had (thanks for the tomato recipe!) We had a suite which was luxurious with all boutique hotel touches, comfortable, very spacious with traditional Spanish features, yet modern.  Stunning roof terrace, with views across the campo and mountains, with plenty of comfy seating. Great for evening drinks. Location is in the heart of town, easy walking to restaurants, bars and shops. And a beautiful town it is. 15-20 min drive to a variety of beaches, and 20 mins from the stunning city of Malaga. Can’t wait to return.

ABOVE & BEYOND

My husband and I have just returned from spending a week at the magnificent CASA 44, to celebrate my birthday. Despite having one of the wettest weeks Spain has had in ages, it did not detract from us having a fantastic time. Andrew and Brennan go above and beyond with the welcome you receive.
We stayed in the Flamenco suite, which offers the height of luxury. Everything you’d expect in a 5* hotel and more ! The breakfasts served in the stylish dining room were to die for. The location of CASA44, is also wonderful. 25 mins from Malaga airport. The town of Alhaurín el Grande makes you feel you really are in Spain, with a host of great restaurants and tapas bars, all within walking distance. There are so many picturesque places nearby to visit, with Ronda, Monda, Malaga, Mijas and La Cala de Mijas to name but a few. We will definitely return next year to visit Granada and the Alhambra palace. Well done Andrew and Brennan for creating a little haven of luxury peace and tranquillity in a beautiful location.
